My story

Hi&#44 Iandamp;#39;m Ruben - a gentle hound boy with a soft heart and a little bit of a brave streak.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I can be a little unsure at first&#44 especially with new people. Iandamp;#39;ve had some stranger danger in the past&#44 but Iandamp;#39;m working through it and learning that the world isnandamp;#39;t so scary. When I feel uncomfortable&#44 I might get a little loud&#44 but once I know youandamp;#39;re safe&#44 my sweet side shines through.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I absolutely love going on field trips. Open spaces are my favorite - I feel more relaxed when I have room to explore. Fenced-in areas can feel a bit confining&#44 and if I spot an exit&#44 I might try to take it. Iandamp;#39;ve already cleared a 4-foot fence and could probably manage a 6-foot one&#44 so Iandamp;#39;ll need a secure setup or a leash walk lifestyle to keep me safe.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I walk nicely alongside other dogs&#44 but cats are not my thing. When it comes to enrichment&#44 I go for the snuffle mat every time - Iandamp;#39;m not really into regular toys or complicated puzzles just yet.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;If youandamp;#39;ve got a calm home&#44 a patient heart&#44 and a good treat stash&#44 Iandamp;#39;d love to find my way into your life.
