My story

    Meet Muffin May!  Breed: Beagle Age: 2 years Weight: 20 lbs. Health: Heartworm positive (currently undergoing treatment) Sweet little Muffin May is starting a whole new chapter in her young life. This 2-year-old Beagle girl came to us very scared, unsure of the world and the people in it. But every day, she’s blossoming a bit more—gaining confidence and learning that not all humans are scary.  While she’s still working on trusting people, Muffin May absolutely adores other dogs! She comes to life when she’s with her canine pals—wrestling, playing chase, and just being her joyful, goofy self. A home with a playful dog buddy is a must to help her continue her journey of healing and confidence. Muffin May is heartworm positive and receiving care, but she doesn’t let that stop her from having fun and exploring her world. With time, patience, and love, this little Beagle will become the loyal companion she was always meant to be.
