You may have heard Yale`s medical story-he`s been through more than most dogs ever should. And yet, here he is, stronger than ever, with a quiet resilience and a heart full of hope. We`re so grateful he`s here to tell us more, and now, he`s ready for his next chapter. Yale is available for foster or foster-to-adopt as he searches for the perfect match.Yale is a handsome adult Husky mix with soulful eyes and a calm, steady presence. After a tough start in life, he`s looking for a peaceful home where he can finally relax and just be him.This sun-loving guy is happiest when he`s lounging outside, soaking up rays, and watching the world go by. He`s great on a leash and enjoys relaxed walks at his own pace. At home, Yale is low-maintenance and independent-he doesn`t need much more than a comfy spot, a soft stuffed animal, and someone who understands him.Yale is potty trained, though he`s polite and quiet about it. Keep an eye out for his cues-he`ll head to the door and circle when he needs to go out. He`s also crate trained; while it`s not his favorite place, he handles it calmly and without complaint.He`s currently going through professional training, and we want him to keep building on those skills as he thrives with structure, consistency, and a confident handler who can reinforce what he`s currently learned/learning. His future foster or adopter should be committed to continuing training and his adoption will include free sessions to set both him and his humans up for success.Yale will do best as the only pet in the home and in a household without young children.
