Meet Yale—Yale is a handsome adult Husky/Shepherd mix with soulful, crystal blue eyes and a calm, steady presence. After a tough start in life, he’s looking for a calm, peaceful home where he can finally relax and just be him. This sun-loving guy is happiest when he`s lounging outside, soaking up rays, and watching the world go by. He’s great on a leash and enjoys relaxed walks at his own pace. At home, Yale is low-maintenance and independent—he doesn’t need much more than a comfy spot, a soft stuffed animal, and someone who understands him.Yale is potty trained, though he’s polite and quiet about it, his small cues can easily be missed - so a consistent potty routine would be great for him. Yale is crate trained but prefers free roam and is a chill, non-destructive gentleman when left alone. Yale went through professional training and boy does it show! This is one well behaved dog! He walks nicely at heel and doesn’t pull on leash. He knows all of his basic commands and is an overall low maintenance, easy-going guy! Yale will do best as the only pet in the home and in a household without young children. He’s a great match people who can appreciate his quiet nature and give him the steady, understanding environment he deserves.Yale has already overcome so much.
