My story

Meet Derek – The Sock-Wearing Sweetheart! Say hello to Derek, a stunning blue-nose pit bull with white feet and legs that make it look like he’s always wearing the cutest pair of socks (in difference lengths)! This handsome guy isn’t just a pretty face—he’s smart, playful, and ready to find a loving home. Derek knows his basic commands and walks well on leash once his initial excitement settles (he just can’t wait to explore!). He’s a big fan of rope toys and tennis balls—tug-of-war and fetch are totally his jam. He’s been around some other dogs and has done well, but he’ll need a proper meet-and-greet if you’ve already got a pup at home to make sure it’s a good fit. Derek hasn’t spent time around children, so we’re looking for an adult-only household where he can thrive and be your loyal, goofy sidekick. Derek’s looking for someone who understands the breed and is ready for a fun, energetic companion with a big heart and even bigger personality. Could that someone be you?
