My story

I am currently at our Pups for Parole Training Program at the prison Cameron Missouri. For more information on me&#44 please email jluce@greatplainsspca.organdlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Lobo means wolf - did you know that? Hi&#44 my name IS Lobo&#44 but believe me when I tell ya&#44 Iandamp;#39;m no wolf. Iandamp;#39;m a very good boy who was surrendered to the shelter because my family lost our home. Iandamp;#39;m 3 years old&#44 and I was just a wee pup when I became a part of the family&#44 so this change in environment has been pretty hard on me. Iandamp;#39;m stressed here&#44 and it is hard to trust the people who are caring for me. Iandamp;#39;m trying&#44 but&#44 it isnandamp;#39;t always easy.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m a confident and friendly boy. I am both kennel trained and house trained. Iandamp;#39;m very calm and quiet in my kennel. But in all honesty&#44 I spent a lot of time in one in recent months&#44 and Iandamp;#39;m sure hoping I can find a family that has the time for me and wants to include me in activities that donandamp;#39;t require a kennel!andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m an energetic boy&#44 and I really like rubber balls. I like to chase them; but&#44 I like to try to catch them with my front paws - not my teeth - so my catching success rate is quite low LOL. Iandamp;#39;m a loving boy&#44 too. I can sit for hours while you stroke my fur and talk to me about how life is treating you. I even love to give kisses. Iandamp;#39;ll stand on two feet and reach up to you to bestow them&#44 so be ready! andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;The shelter and my previous owner say that I seem to like other dogs&#44 but I donandamp;#39;t think Iandamp;#39;ve had enough experience with other pups to definitely conclude one way or the other if I like them or not. I think the same can be said about kids. I havenandamp;#39;t lived with kids&#44 so I donandamp;#39;t really know much. If you have kids at home&#44 bring them to the shelter&#44 and letandamp;#39;s meet. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I think my favorite place in the world would be in our back yard with you throwing a rubber ball and me trying to catch it with my paws. Who knows? I may figure it out. I long to have a human to love again&#44 and I will be a loyal and loving boy. I do know how to talk (what husky worth his salt doesnandamp;#39;t?)&#44 and once I get started in a conversation with you&#44 it will get pretty funny cuz I have lots to tell you. andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Come&#44 meet me&#44 see how handsome and sweet of a guy I am. Give me a chance to warm up to you. Talk softly and go slowly with petting and holding me&#44 and Iandamp;#39;ll be your best friend and companion for life.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Love from Lobo

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Lobo, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
