My story

Billie is a tender hearted girl looking to start the next chapter of her life, and ideally, with another well-adjusted dog friend! She is most confident and relaxed when she has a bestie. This sweet lady appears to have missed out on some socialization when she was younger, so she is benefitting from the help of our Training & Behavior team to help her feel more comfortable around new people and new places. Billie will need a patient and gentle adopter to help her transition into her new home. She is required to live in a home with a fenced in yard and appears to be most comfortable with free access to the outdoors. At this time, HSBV will only rehome her to a family without children or with children over the age of 10, and without cats. She has enjoyed dogs while in our care and is suggested to live with canine pals.
