Meet Windy, a 2.5 month old Domestic Short Hair kitten with a soft tabby and white coat and a heart full of love! Windy is playful and curious, but tends to take her cues from her siblings -she’s the perfect mix of fun and easygoing. She loves to chase toys, leap into boxes, and climb alongside her littermates, but she’s just as happy curling up for cuddles once playtime winds down.   Windy is especially affectionate and has a gentle, sweet demeanor that makes her a joy to be around. She gets along wonderfully with her brothers and sisters and would be a great match for a home with other cats - especially a friendly older cat who could show her the ropes and enjoy her calm companionship.  This little lovebug is ready to bring warmth and playfulness to her forever home. Typical transport cost to the Northeast is $180. Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA state residents. A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Thank you for thinking adoption first! Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption.
