My story

This beautiful girl made the long journey from Texas alongside her puppies, all in search of a better life—and now that her little ones are growing up and finding their own homes, it’s mama’s turn to shine. She’s a Kelpie mix with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. After all she’s been through, she’s still incredibly sweet and eager to bond with people. While she’s past the wild puppy phase, she still enjoys playtime and exploring, and would love a home where she can relax, feel safe, and be part of the family. June can be selective with other dogs—even though she raised her puppies with great care, she sometimes needs time and space to feel comfortable around new dogs. She’s also shown some fearfulness around men, so slow, patient introductions are important to help her build trust. She’s learning that the world is a safe place again, and with kindness and consistency, she continues to blossom. With a little patience and a lot of love, June will make a loyal, affectionate companion. Whether it’s a walk in the sun or a quiet night snuggled on the couch, she’s just happy to be with her people. All of our dogs are dewormed, spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and heartworm tested if they are old enough.
