My story

Posey is a classic herding breed through and through – smart, loyal, and full of energy. She thrives with plenty of exercise and mental stimulation (like fun food puzzles!) to keep her happy and anxiety-free. She's spent her life with one canine companion and did well, but hasn't like the other two dogs she's been with recently. While she has been here with us, she's tolerant of other dogs. She hasn't wanted to play with them yet, but didn't mind taking a walk and sniffing around the yard together. Posey is house-trained, kennel-trained, and incredibly treat-motivated. She's also been around children and has done fine. Give her a job, especially on a ranch or active property, and she’d be in her element! She really enjoys a game of fetch.
