My story

Say hello to Twirl—a spirited and beautiful 2-year-old Bull Terrier with a heart full of joy and a tail that never stops wagging. Twirl was born deaf, but she doesn’t let that slow her down one bit! She lives life with enthusiasm and is always ready for the next adventure (or cuddle session).Twirl is looking for a special home with a family experienced in or willing to learn how to care for a deaf dog. She thrives with routine, patience, and lots of love. Deaf dogs like Twirl are incredibly intuitive and can form deep, trusting bonds with their people—she just needs the right match who understands her world.She’s playful, smart, and full of personality. Whether she`s showing off her silly zoomies or leaning in for affection, Twirl reminds us that different doesn`t mean less—it just means unique.If you`re ready to open your heart and home to an amazing dog with a little extra sparkle, Twirl is ready to meet you. THERE ARE TWO WAYS TO ADOPT FROM WRIGHT-WAY RESCUE:OPTION ONE: RESERVE A PET IN ADVANCE by filling out an online application at https://wright-wayrescue.org/adoption-application-page- Our typical turnaround time for applications is within 48 hours.- An email will be sent to you once your application is approved. This email will include instructions on how to proceed with our reservation process. - Please note: The location listed in an animal`s profile does not indicate where the animal is available for adoption. Almost all of our adoptions are carried out at our Morton Grove facility.OPTION TWO: COME INTO THE ADOPTION CENTER AND MEET THEM ALL! The adoption center is located at 5915 W Lincoln Ave in Morton Grove, IL 60053. It is open Thursday & Friday, 4 pm-8 pm and Saturday & Sunday, 11 am-5 pm.
