My story

Here's what my friends at the shelter had to say about me! "Athena is a beautiful Anatolian shepherd mix and she’s really scared of being at the shelter. She was a little more confident and I was able to walk her out. Her personality came out when she met Loki through the kennel door. They were giving each other kisses and tail wagging like crazy. I used that momentum to get her outside but I didn’t make it very far before she got scared again. I carried her outside and let her decompress a bit. She is very submissive, likes to be pet, and has a very calm demeanor. She did really good on her temp test with another dog! She just needs another dog to help build her confidence and some TLC. Shes also a belly giver. When I talked to her she kept rolling over and lifting her leg. She’s adorable and I feel so bad how scared she is. She’s a really good girl who needs someone to be patient and give her the love she needs!"
