We're happy to help with tips & tricks. Currently Living at:   Foster home in the DC area! I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Missy, and I am a sweet kitty! I won’t ask for much- just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself. What My Foster Says About Me:  Missy is a little boss lady! She took almost no time making herself at home in our apartment and becoming friends with our resident cat. They chase each other around for hours, tire themselves out and then curl up for a long nap. She really enjoys bird and squirrel watching, and sunbathing. Missy love love LOVES food and doesn't seem to be picky at all. She’ll try to get into any food left out (even human food), so meals need to be supervised. I cannot free feed her as she'll try eat all the food in one go.Missy will bundle up between our legs at night to sleep and is very polite in the morning-- she does not wake us up early in the morning for food and is fairly quiet. She does tend to scratch furniture, so she'll definitely need plenty of scratch posts to satisfy that instinct. If there is a scratch post around, she doesn't bother scratching furniture. She has very good litter box manners.Regarding allergies-- my husband is very allergic to cats, but Missy hasn't triggered his allergies even once. I believe that is because I bathed Missy using a hypoallergenic shampoo. We also feed her the purina proplan liveclear allergen reducing dry food. I welcome any questions potential adopters may have regarding allergies! Missy is easy to bathe if you have experience bathing cats since she is so small (she tries to escape, but doesn't bite or scratch during bath time). TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for adult cats is $200 ($350 for two cats adopted together).
