My story

(DOB 1/11/2025) Due to Lucas’s young age, he has not yet been neutered. For this reason, we are only considering local placement (within 1 hour drive time of Wake Forest NC).  Lucas is a lovable puppy with a heart as big as his future size! Full of goofy charm and playful energy, he's sure to bring endless smiles and laughter to your home. Whether he’s clowning around with toys or figuring out a puzzle, Lucas is always ready for fun. Lucas is happiest when he has playing and have a grand ole time and will want another playful dog around in his new home. He’s very social and would benefit from a canine buddy to match his energy and help him burn off some of that puppy enthusiasm. A fenced yard is preferred to give him room to run and explore safely. No young children due to his size and energy. An active, dog-savvy family who’s ready to engage with him daily. A home with another friendly, playful dog is strongly recommended. This bright boy is quick to pick up new commands and thrives on mental stimulation. His intelligence makes training a joy—but it also means he needs consistent guidance and structure. Lucas will do best with an experienced adopter who can help him continue to grow into the amazing dog he's destined to be. With his sweet nature, goofy antics, and loyalty, Lucas is the kind of companion who makes every day better. He’s ready to be your shadow, your workout buddy, and your best friend. Ready to add love, laughter, and a little chaos to your life? Lucas is waiting!   As part of Lucas’s $325 adoption fee, he will be neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and current on his monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. In addition to the adoption fee, a $100 spay/neuter deposit and puppy spay/neuter agreement will also be required.
