My story

DOB: August 1 2019 Please note, this is a posting through the Courtesy Adoption Program. Please contact the current owner directly for more details. Their details are below. Bagels is a big ol scaredy cat who likes his alone time. He loves to look out the window to watch the birds and lounge around in the comfiest place he can find. Despite his reserved nature he is a total suck once he gets to know you. He loves belly rubs and rolling around, on his terms. He doesn't like to be picked up and will squirm but if he trusts you he will tolerate it for a quick snuggle. He was initially purchased at 4 months from a home with many cats and lots of commotion, because of this he is timid around strangers and hates loud noises (such as the vacuum, but once he finds safe hiding spot he is content). Bagels doesn't have a mean bone in his body, he has never been violent or aggressive. He has lived with another cat since he came home in 2019, they like each other but he would do best as a solo cat. He dislikes dogs and has not been around children. For the past year Bagels has struggled with inappropriate urination. He has been seen by a vet and all medical cause has been ruled out. To help combat this he is on medication that has helped greatly but he still has the occasional episode. Because of this behaviour a home with a patient human and no other pets would be the best fit. He would do best with someone that is happy to let him live his life and can offer affection when he seeks it out. Once you gain his trust, he will love you forever. Bagels is currently living in Waterloo. Bagels is participating in our Courtesy Adoption Posting Program and is not the property of Toronto Cat Rescue. Toronto Cat Rescue does not accept responsibility for any pet placements that result from this service. If you need more info or would like to adopt please contact Natalie at 236-591-0869 - Thank you!

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Bagels- CP, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
