Meet Libby – Our Newest Rescue! Today, we welcomed this sweet 10-week-old puppy into our rescue family. We named her Libby after she was found abandoned in a park in Mesquite, laying on a black plastic bag. It’s heartbreaking to think she may have been thrown into the park inside that bag. 💔 But Libby’s spirit is unbreakable! She’s incredibly affectionate, a total cuddle bug, and a little stinker full of playful energy. She’s already charming everyone with her smarts and loves playing with the other dogs in her foster home. Libby is a brown shepherd mix with black-tipped tail, black nose, a white patch on her chest, and white on her back paws. We’re not sure of her exact breed, but we do know she’s 100% adorable. 🩺 What We’ve Done So Far: ✅ First set of shots today ✅ Dewormed ✅ First dose of heartworm prevention ✅ Microchip and full vetting included in adoption fee Despite our efforts – posting on Pawboost, Petco Lost Network, walking her around the area, and contacting local shelters (which, heartbreakingly, were turning away puppies) – no one has come forward for her. Thankfully, Chloe’s was the first rescue group to step up for her. Libby is currently safe in a temporary foster home, but she needs a permanent foster or forever family.
