How this pet arrived: Lucena was brought in by a community member. Why Lucena might be the one for you:Lucena who has a great, big grin which makes her whole face wrinkle when she smiles. It is very cute and she smiles a lot. Lucena is in a foster home where they describe her as having adjusted well to the day to day routine of the household. She likes hanging out on her various beds or under the desk as her foster works from home. . She is very affectionate, and adores receiving attention and cuddles. Lucena walks well on a leash, and is very responsive to positive reinforcement training. If she gets a little too excited occasionally, she's easy to redirect and eager to please. Lucena would thrive best as the only dog in a calm, lower-traffic home without the hustle and bustle of young kids and other pets. It is hard to describe Lucena's big smile and face wrinkles. We will make arrangements for you to meet Lucena so you see for yourself. Bring a leash because we think that smiling Lucena may go home with you - grinning all the way.
