Pepper

My story

Pepper came to us as an owner surrender after her original parents passed away. The family who took her in afterward didn’t have the time she needed to thrive. Pepper can be a bit shy and unsure at first, which may lead to barking or even a nip if introductions aren’t done slowly. But once she learns to trust you, she blossoms into the sweetest, most playful girl. She absolutely loves squeaky balls—whether she’s tossing them around by herself or playing fetch with you, they bring her so much joy. Pepper is also an active pup who thrives on daily walks. Whether it’s a quick stroll or several miles, she’s up for the adventure and would make a fantastic walking buddy. Pepper does have some food allergies and does best on Freshpet or other human-grade dog food. She also travels well and, if you let her, would love to snuggle up in your bed for all the cuddles. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who just needs a little patience to feel safe, Pepper could be your perfect match.
