Miss Queen What an awesome, happy, eager to please, loving, playful gal! While I'm still getting to know her what I do know is that she is wicked smart. She watched my dog go out the dog door twice and said "oh I got this!" and that was history. With deliberate trips outside and her taking herself out she is potty trained. She loves toys, so far the hard bones to chew on have been her favorite. She took her first mountain hike and was such a rockstar on her leash with people, dogs, and bikes passing! Even with a 10 foot leash, she prefers being close to her human. There might be a few fine tuning needs but we are all a work in progress. At night she sleeps in her kennel in my room and so far so good! She gets a good play session in in the mornings before I leave for work and as far as I know (she is fostered in a single family home so not sure what would be in an apartment setting but it's not out of the question) she lounges in her kennel until it's time for after work play/walks/enrichment. She corrects extremely well and will easily learn whatever it is you want her to! While she does well with her foster mom working outside of the house, she also has a really playful puppy to play with and a large yard to run around in. She needs a home that will exercise her body and mind. Her energy is nothing over the top, I'd say it might even be slightly under your normal heeler and once she's tuckered out, she relaxes no problem. She is loving playing with the two playful dogs here and leaves the ones that don't want to play alone. Occasionally she may try and tell her canine friends just how much she values the human here but like mentioned above, she corrects easy and is learning there is love to go around for every one! She's a good eater and stops when she's full. As with any pup I would recommend if she does have a canine buddy that meal times and high value treats or humans are supervised. She shares toys really well and often uses them to get a dog pal to chase her around. She loves chase! She's a little shy at first but she warms up within minutes with pets and treats! She does the Heeler crawl, if you know you know hah! Queen is going to make an amazing loyal companion and cannot wait to meet you! ##2404139##
