Hello! My name is Gracie, and I would love to share a little piece of my heart with you. Picture this: a golden Arizona morning, where the sun kisses the desert floor and the air carries the soft scent of blooming cactus flowers. That is where my journey began—under the wide, open sky, with three tiny puppies by my side. I was alone, doing my best to protect them, to keep them warm, fed, and safe in a world that felt far too big. Then, like a miracle, kind souls from county animal control found us. They saw the fierce love in my eyes and knew we needed a second chance. That’s when we were brought to Central Arizona Animal Rescue—a place where hope blooms just as brightly as the desert flowers. Here, I was given the gift of time and safety. I raised my little ones with all the love in my heart, watching them grow strong and playful, ready to find families of their own. Now that they’ve begun their new adventures, it’s time for me to start mine. So, who am I? I’m a 45-pound shepherd mix with a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. I’ve been spayed so I never have to raise puppies again, I was vaccinated with everything that I need, and I got a microchip. I am ready for a forever home where I’ll never be lost again. I walk nicely on a leash, and while I’m not sure if I have ever lived inside a house, I’m eager to learn what “house training” means. I’m a quick study, promise! As for cats? Well, I have not met any yet. Maybe they’re fun to chase… or maybe they are just tiny, furry friends I have not had the chance to mother yet. What I do know is this: I am ready to find a family of my own. A place where I can give all the love I have been saving. A place to call home. If you think we might be meant for each other, please reach out to mike@caaronline.org to set up a time to meet me. I can not wait to wag my tail, look into your eyes, and maybe—just maybe—find my forever. If you are unable to adopt me, please share my video to help me find my forever home.
