When he first arrived at his current foster home, he spent over a week hiding and only came out when no one was around. Now, he confidently moves through his foster home, enjoys lap time on the couch, and even spoons his foster mom while she sleeps. 🥹 He’s still naturally shy and will need an adopter who is patient and understands that trust takes time. But once you’ve earned his trust, Licorice becomes a loving, loyal companion who genuinely misses his people when they’re away. He may not enjoy being picked up, but he has never scratched or bitten—just quietly communicates his boundaries.
