My story

Hi there&#44 Iandamp;#39;m Goose! andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I may be 6 years old&#44 but in a lot of ways&#44 my new life is just beginning. You see&#44 I spent most of my years living outside&#44 dreaming of a soft bed and a kind hand. Life wasnandamp;#39;t always easy-but thanks to the Great Plains amazing HERO team&#44 Iandamp;#39;ve finally been given a second chance. They saved me just in time to avoid another scorching summer in the sun. Now&#44 Iandamp;#39;m learning what it means to be loved... and let me tell you&#44 Iandamp;#39;m soaking it all in.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;Iandamp;#39;m a hound-lab mix with a gentle heart and the softest eyes youandamp;#39;ll ever see. Iandamp;#39;m still getting the hang of this andamp;quot;leash walkingandamp;quot; thing-itandamp;#39;s a bit weird&#44 but every day I get braver and more confident. Treats help (a lot!)&#44 and Iandamp;#39;ll never say no to a kind word or a gentle pet.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;One of my best skills? Iandamp;#39;m an excellent coexister! I get along great with other dogs and would be happy to have a calm canine buddy to show me the ropes. Obedience classes would really help me build more confidence&#44 and I promise to give it my all-Iandamp;#39;m a smart boy who just needs someone patient and kind to guide me.andlt;br/andgt;andlt;br/andgt;I may have had a ruff start&#44 but Iandamp;#39;ve got so much love to give.
