Bingo

My story

  Bingo is a friendly and playful kind of cat who is looking for a person with a similar personality. He loves wand toys, spring toys and the laser pointer. He doesn't mind being picked up and is quite curious. Bingo will need a special adopter who will be attentive to his needs. Bingo has some chronic stuffiness which currently does not require any medicine but he should be monitored for any upper respiratory symptoms. Bingo also has a condition called Pica which means he has a habit of chewing on objects he shouldn't, so his living space needs to be adapted and tailored to that unique need -- he can't have free access to any items he could easily chew and swallow. He has started a special prescription diet and medication to help manage the conditon. This food and medicine could be a long-term treatment plan so having or establishing a good relationship with a vet would be essential for an adopter.  While it may seem a little overwhleming, Bingo is well-deserving of the opportunity to flourish in a home. An ideal adopter may be someone who works from home or has multiple people in the home with different schedules so that he has company throughout the day. Our adoption staff can talk to you further with any questions you may have!  Bingo was also originally adopted from PAWS with one of his siblings, so he could do well in a home with another social and active kitty, but all of the dietary and spacing related needs would need to be considered as well. Adoption fees are as follows, plus tax: $150 for large adult dogs (older than 1 year); $250 for small dogs (under 25 lbs) and all puppies (under 1 year); $60 for adult cats (over 6 months of age), $100 for kittens (under 6 months of age), and $25 for small animals. When you adopt a pair of kittens together, the total adoption fee is $150.  PAWS, the Philadelphia Animal Welfare Society is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue organization dedicated to saving Philadelphia's homeless and at-risk animals.
