My story

Meet Reacher! He’s a stunning 18-month-old classic German Shepherd with great manners and a heart full of love. Reacher is housebroken, professionally trained, and has excellent recall. He loves car rides, playing fetch, and spending time with his people. He gets along great with other dogs, loved playing with his former fur sibling, and now has a blast with his foster brother Moose. Reacher is looking for an active, cat-free home where he can thrive. Loyal, smart, and full of energy—anyone would be lucky to welcome this incredible boy into their life. Mixes are "softer" and somewhat more malleable. Exceptions can be made, however, for first-time adopters who show the confidence and leadership tendencies that purebreds will respect and respond to. Counselors have to use good judgment in assessing the attributes of the adopter, as well as of the dog. If you have doubts, get a second opinion from Robin or another experienced counselor.
