My story

Meet Chazz! He’s a mellow, gentle soul who’s mastered the art of lounging and loving. Chazz is a quiet, low-maintenance guy who would love nothing more than to hang out on the sofa with you, soaking up pets and purring the day away. Not much of a talker, Chazz rarely meows—he prefers to let his soft purrs do all the communicating. He LOVES pets and can be stroked for hours, all the while purring.  Chazz is also perfectly content doing his own thing. He’s happy to curl up nearby while you go about your day, keeping you company without ever being in the way. Whether you're reading a book, working from home, or just enjoying a quiet moment, he’ll be your calm, cozy companion. This sweet boy isn’t the biggest jumper, but who needs to leap around when your favorite activity is simply being close to your people? You can rest assured, anything more than a few feet off the floor is safe with Chazz around (Chazz is quite respectful with human furnishings and keeps his scratches to his scratch pads). Chazz is the perfect cat for someone looking for a peaceful, affectionate presence to share their space.  Chazz would thrive in a serene home where he can settle into a cozy routine and continue being his snuggly, easygoing self. If you’re looking for a soft, sweet buddy who’s just as happy beside you as he is doing his own thing, Chazz is your perfect match. Chazz was rescued with dental issues and had surgery. We would be thrilled for a potential adopter to provide a larger adoption donation (between $250 and $400 total) and/or assistance crowdsourcing funds towards their necessary vet bills if possible.
