My story

Chow Pal: Dixie the Delight Meet Dixie, one of the amazing Okie Pokies. Dixie was rescued just in time from a rural Oklahoma shelter. She’s a gorgeous black pup with a white chest, and while she might be a mix, she’s giving strong Chow vibes — quiet, observant, and full of heart. At first, Dixie can be a little shy, but once she knows she’s safe, she’ll trot over for love, lean in for pets, and might even sneak you a gentle kiss. She’s crate trained, potty trained, and learning every day that the world is a good place when you're loved. She’s a calm, thoughtful companion who’s looking for a home that understands slow introductions and lifelong loyalty. Dixie is ready to be someone’s loyal shadow — a true Chow Pal at heart! **Dixie is being fostered in Texas. Paid transport can be arranged.
