My story

Meet Freckles! If you’re looking for a dog who doubles as your personal cuddle blanket, Freckles is your girl. This one-year-old, 45-pound lovebug is the happiest little potato you’ll ever meet—and she’s happiest when she’s curled up right next to you. She adores people, melts for belly rubs, and will gladly keep the couch warm while you watch TV. Freckles is also wonderfully friendly with other dogs. Her play style is sweet and gentle—she loves to be chased but avoids rough contact (thoughtful for a joyful little bowling ball!). She’s submissive without being shy, which is a rare and lovely trait, and she’s a dream on leash, making strolls together a pleasure. She’s settled into foster life as though she’s been there forever and is now ready to bring her snuggles and sunshine to her forever family.
