Meet Albert, a ten year old Lab/Boxer mix weighing around 85 pounds. Albert may be a senior, but his heart is full of love and his spirit is quietly resilient. This gentle soul was found lying on the side of the road, covered in ticks and in rough shape—but despite it all, Albert has remained incredibly sweet and trusting. Now cleaned up and cared for, Albert is ready to find the peaceful retirement home he truly deserves. He has arthritis, so he moves at his own pace and will need lifelong medication to stay comfortable—but don`t worry, he`s very treat-motivated and will happily sit for a snack (especially if it’s a tasty one!).Albert enjoys slow strolls where he can sniff to his heart’s content. He’s not in a rush to get anywhere—he’s all about enjoying the moment. What he’s really looking for is a calm, loving home where he can rest, relax, and be cherished for the amazing dog he is. If you have a soft spot for seniors and a quiet space where Albert can lay his head, he will repay you with gentle companionship and deep gratitude. Let’s give this sweet boy the retirement he’s earned. This pet is available for adoption on 5/30/2025 at 10:16 AM at the Yakima Humane Society adoption center.
