My story
Hi, I’m Bernard! I’m a 1-year-old Hound dog weighing in at 42 pounds, and I’ve got energy, curiosity, and a big heart to match my long ears. I’m playful with toys, treat-motivated, and I know how to sit! I’m also a total attention-seeker—if you’re nearby, I want to be near you too. I get along great with kids but would prefer to be the only pet in the home—dogs and cats just aren’t my thing. I can be a little jumpy when I’m excited and I still pull on the leash, but I’m eager to learn and ready for a family that can help guide me as I grow.
