My story
Resilience is the common thread linking the clowder of cats we rescued from the aftermath of the Happy Cats Sanctuary fire. It’s also the name of one timid tabby that may be feeling the weight of that moniker as she grapples with an utterly different existence. Hopping from hiding spot to hooded bed to try to reclaim a security lost in the fire, Resilience is afforded all the time and quiet she needs to refuel her soul. We’re not surprised to find her land into the loving embrace of a fellow survivor and settle in to summon some peace that’s been missing. A new beginning starts today. If you have a heart to nurture her fractured spirit, you just might be rewarded with the kind of love saved between someone who felt lost and the human who found her.
