My story

  Hi there, I’m Hero! I’m a tall, handsome American bulldog/ Mastiff mixed-breed boy with a big heart and an even bigger personality. I’ve got lots of energy and love to play—so I hope you're ready for plenty of interactive fun! Tug toys, squeaky toys, plush toys (that I can try to de-fluff)... I love them all! Playtime makes me happy, and it's even better when I get to share it with you. I'm not really the sit-still kind of guy—I like to keep moving and exploring. But don’t worry, I’ve got great house manners and am very treat motivated (seriously, I’ll do almost anything for a tasty snack). I already know "sit" and "shake," and I'm eager to learn more cool tricks with you. Training sounds like a fun game to me, especially if snacks are involved! One of my favorite things is snuggling up for pets and back rubs. When I lean all 60 pounds of me into your legs, that’s just my way of saying, "I love you already." I’ll roll my big head into your hands for cheek rubs and soak up every bit of affection you’ve got to give. I’ve made lots of friends here—both people and other pups. I’m super social and always up for playgroup time or a cuddle session with my favorite volunteers.
