My story

Meet Pang — The Life of the Party with a Whole Lot of Love to Give! Pang is a 3-year-old Pit Bull mix with a heart as big as his personality. As the son of our beloved Assada, Pang is ready to shine on his own and find a home where he can share his endless enthusiasm and affection. This playful, bouncy boy is full of tail wags and charm. He loves people and isn’t shy about demanding attention — whether it’s through a joyful jump, a goofy prance, or his signature happy grin. Pang is still learning his manners, so he can be a bit jumpy and mouthy when excited, but it’s all in fun and without pressure. He simply hasn’t learned yet that not everyone appreciates a full-body greeting!During his behavior assessment, Pang showed us just how affectionate and social he really is. He greeted staff at the front of the kennel with soft eyes and a wagging tail — signs of a friendly, approachable dog. Even in new environments, he showed consistent interest in people without fear or stress. When given attention, Pang leaned in with a soft body and even gave kisses, which earned him top scores for sociability. This tells us he’s emotionally stable, enjoys human contact, and thrives when being loved on.When it came to toys, Pang was polite and curious. He was more interested in the person playing than the toy itself, and had no issues being touched while playing — which speaks to his comfort with handling and lack of resource guarding. During his food test, he passed with flying colors, keeping his tail wagging and eating at a relaxed pace. He had no problem with someone petting him or being near his bowl, even lifting his head mid-meal to check in. These results tell us Pang is trustworthy, responsive, and has excellent emotional control in everyday situations. He takes treats gently and has no problem being handled — whether you`re touching his ears, paws, or petting him while he’s drinking water. He hasn’t mastered basic commands yet, but with his eagerness to please (and love of snacks), he’s a great candidate for positive reinforcement training.Pang has shown friendly curiosity toward other dogs, wagging his tail when greeting through the fence. When he met cats, even when hissed at, Pang kept a gentle posture, quietly stepping away and even hiding behind his handler — such a sweet and sensitive soul! With the right introduction, we believe Pang could do well in a home with cats. This happy boy would thrive with some
