My story

I`m Baby Boy, a 6-year-old orange tabby male that came to the shelter after being on my own for some time. Despite my status as a stray, the kind woman who was taking care of me described me as affectionate and friendly. It`s a big relief to be indoors and out of the elements, with regular meals and medical care. Even though I arrived at the shelter relatively recently, I`ve been neutered, tested, and vaccinated, and I`m ready to start a new chapter in life. I tested positive for feline leukemia, but I`m young and healthy, and the prospects for me are looking pretty good. A diagnosis of FeLV can be emotionally devastating, but it is important to realize that cats with FeLV can live normal lives for prolonged periods of time. If you`re a believer in fresh starts and second changes, come to the shelter to learn the meaning of `orange goodness.`
