My story
Hello! I came to the shelter as a stray. I`m very sweet and I love attention. I`ve been good about being picked up and handled by staff at the shelter, just a little wiggly. Like many dogs in NC, I am currently heartworm positive. OCAS will be helping by beginning my treatment but you`ll need to follow up with your veterinarian! During treatment I will be on an oral medication and will need to get a topical solution monthly until I have a Negative Heartworm Test. If you have any questions about this please ask to speak with a member of the medical staff.
