Sweet Mama Needs a Forever Home!VERENA HAZEL NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!! Name: Verena Hazel Best Guess for Breed: Domestic Short Hair  Best Guess for Age: 2 years (Est. DOB: 5/5/23)  Sex: Female Approximate Weight: 9.3lbs Coloring: Brown Tabby and White Type of Hair: Short Gets Along With:  Because of her young age, Verena Hazel will likely get along with other cats, dogs and kids with an acclimation period. We’re happy to help with tips and tricks! Currently Living at:  Shelter...coming to DC area soon! What the Shelter Says About Me:   With her huge glorious green marble eyes is a very playful girl. She was a stray who came up to a good Samaritan's home. They started feeding her and kept her on their screened porch. They took her to the vet - thinking she was pregnant. The x-rays did not show babies. Surprise! She had her babies, raised and weaned them. Verena Hazel was such a good mother and calls out to other kittens in the Cat Room. She purrs as you pet her, and she has another surprise...she plays like she is a giant kitten (no joke; be ready!). It is no surprise though that she is ready to find her forever family. I am Looking For: My loving forever family! Hi! I'm Verena Hazel, and I am a sweet kitty! I won’t ask for much - just some love, cuddles and lots of toys so I can run and play and be myself.
