My story

Meet Mango – A Sweet Survivor with a Heart of Gold Mango is a beautiful orange boy with a story that will tug at your heartstrings. He spent the first two years of his life surviving on the streets, where he faced more than his share of hardship. During that time, he unfortunately contracted FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), and by the time he was brought to the shelter by kind-hearted people who had been working to gain his trust, Mango bore the marks of a tough life—scratches on his face and ears, cuts on his back, and wounds around his neck. But underneath that rough exterior is one of the sweetest souls you'll ever meet. Mango may be a little shy at first, but give him just a little time and patience, and he blossoms into a total lovebug. He adores gentle pets, belly rubs, and has a funny little habit of giving kisses... with his teeth! (We promise—he means it affectionately.) Mango is looking for a quiet, loving indoor-only home where he can finally feel safe, cherished, and cared for—just as he deserves. If you’re someone who believes in second chances and has room in your heart for a very special cat, Mango will reward you with a lifetime of gentle affection and grateful purrs.
