This 13-year-old Shih-Tzu Yorkie mix is the embodiment of chill—a true connoisseur of belly rubs, basking in the sun, and receiving admiration from his loyal subjects (aka everyone he meets). He gets along with other dogs like a true superstar on tour, and while he may not sing, his ability to woo an audience is second to none. With his pirate-like look and easygoing vibe, Ricky Martin doesn’t need backup dancers—just a comfy spot to lounge, endless belly rubs, and a fan base devoted to his every whim. With limitless charm, Ricky Martin views life the way he lives it—boldly, brightly, and with a swagger that does not fade with age. Here's some notes from his foster: Oh Ricky boy, My heart! After a tough chapter, all this boy needed was a little TLC and a soft place to land—and he’s truly come alive in my home. Resilient, loving, and certifiably hilarious, Ricky is a total delight. He is great with my resident animals and is only concerned with one thing: snuggles. He doesn’t bark (even when my resident chi is yelling up a storm!) and sleeps through the night snuggled in my armpit. When I’m out, he finds a bed, tucks himself in like a gentleman, and naps. He’s fully potty trained, a champ on walks (I just keep to his “working eye” side or he’ll lose me like a sock in the dryer), and he turns heads everywhere we go. He now has a little fan club in my neighborhood—people stop to hear his story and give him the love he rightfully deserves and expects. He just eats it up. Ricky Martin definitely lives up to his name: he is a star! He's going to make someone a thoroughly entertained and well snuggled pet parent. I absolutely love him!
