Animal ID: 949394. How this pet arrived: Princess was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on April 26, 2025. Why Princess is the one for you:Meet Princess - a shy gal with a big personality, just waiting for the right person to unlock it! Princess has had a tough start and needs a very special home: calm, quiet, and patient. She's wary of strangers and uncomfortable with most handling beyond gentle chin and head pets. While she may be fearful at first, Princess is also full of charm. She LOVES to play - watching her bounce around with a ball is pure joy (seriously, cuteness overload). She's a puzzle-ball pro and gets the zoomies when she's feeling spry, usually followed by a well-earned sunbath. She's also potty trained and will let you know she needs to go out with a polite bark. She wants to be near her person as much as possible - even just lounging on a bed at your feet brings her comfort! Don't be fooled if she leans in close; while she craves connection, she isn't the most comfortable with a lot of touch. She's looking for a dog-savvy, adult only home without any other pets, where she can feel safe and secure. If you're someone who believes in going slow, celebrating small victories, and watching a sensitive soul learn to feel safe, she might just be your heart dog! Come in and ask about Princess today! At SDHS:Princess has been vaccinated, microchipped and spayed/neutered. She is now ready for her new home! Primary Color: Black Weight: 10.53 Age: 7yrs 1mths 1wks
