Noel

My story

A28163 Noel is a white colored, approximately 2-year-old, 58-pound, neutered male, Husky. He entered the shelter as an owner surrender on 05-29-2025 due to the fact his new landlord did not allow dogs. Noel is a friendly, calm and easy to handle boy here at the shelter. He is still unsure in this shelter environment and trying to figure things out. Our staff says he is anxious right now and trying to figure out why he is here. He is ready to come out of the kennel and will meet you at the door ready to go. He will need an owner that understands the breed and who will give him time to decompress. He is anxious right now, so he may have separation anxiety, or it could just be everything going on here. Combined with the fact he just moved here from California, into an apartment and then was dropped off here. He was easy to leash and excited to go for a walk. He walked pretty good on the leash with an occasional pulling, but not bad. He will “sit” upon command. He shows some interest in other dogs here and was brought in alongside a stray dog his owners found and stated he did well with. The previous owner says he is not house broken, but has lived with other dogs, but not cats or children. Noel will be a loyal, loving companion in his new forever home.
