My story

Hi, I’m Harlow and let me tell you, life has gotten so much better recently. I came from a tough hoarding situation, but thanks to some truly amazing humans, I now know what love, comfort, and soft blankets feel like. That alone feels like a miracle.I’m a super sweet, affectionate girl with a big heart and an even bigger love for other dogs. A playful canine buddy would make me the happiest girl ever - someone to wrestle, zoom, or snuggle with when the day winds down. Cats? Not so much. I find them a little too exciting to resist chasing, so a cat-free home would be best.I’ve got a lot of energy and a playful spirit, but I’m also learning how to be a house dog one day at a time. I’ll let you know when I need to go outside, but I still need some help finishing up my potty training. And while I’m working on crate training, it’s not really my favorite place — I’d much rather be close to my people or dog friends.Here’s the honest part: I struggle with being alone. When I’m left by myself, I get anxious and may chew on things. I’m not trying to be bad — I just don’t know how to cope yet. I’ll need a home where someone is around most of the time, or where I have a confident dog friend to help me feel safe while we work on this together.I’ve been through a lot, but I’m resilient, loving, and so ready for a fresh start.
