FRANKIE

My story

This handsome boy is Frankie! He arrived at the shelter as a lost dog on 5/20. His family must have figured out he was at the shelter and decided to surrender him because there are notes that he is house-trained, good with kids, and good with other dogs. Frankie is now hoping for a new, forever home where he will be loved and kept safe so that he never ends up back in the shelter. Frankie is scared in the loud, overwhelming shelter and he hides in the back of his kennel. He relaxes and is such a sweet boy once outside. Frankie does know how to sit nicely for treats. Frankie is an adult dog and weighs 31 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Frankie is waiting in run 834; his ID # is 10131. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
