My story

Quick Facts: Name: Emmie Lou Estimated Birthday: Breed: Pomeranian Size: 6ish Pounds House Trained: Work in Progress Adoption Fee: $365 Meet Emmie Lou! She is incredibly sweet and loving. Miss Emmie Lou loves everyone and thinks strangers are just friends she hasn’t met yet. Her foster says her favorite things are: Being held. Being carried. Sitting in your lap. Eating. And Being held more. She’s about 10 years old, 6 pounds, and a Pomeranian cuddle bug! Emmie Lou’s ideal home would be in house rather than apartment-style living and would be filled with cuddle time, preferably to lay in your lap or be carried around. She walks well on her leash and is crate trained, even barking to let you know when she’s ready to come out of her crate. Emmie Lou is working in on potty training but does well with puppy pee pads. She will need a soft food diet since this little lovebug only has 3 teeth. She was surrendered to the shelter by a Good Samaritan after having seizures. Her bloodwork is normal and the vet suspects she was exposed to a toxin of some sort that caused the issues. She has had no further seizures in her foster home and is not on any medication. She does have a bit of arthritis. She will be available to go home on May 30. While we don’t know if any long term illness or diseases, she should be closely monitored.
