You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Elmore is a true hero. Rescued by HEAL in 2023 after being found with a severely severed paw, he had been living outside with the injury for weeks before help finally came. Thanks to surgery and dedicated rehabilitation, Elmore made a full recovery—and even had his story featured on ABC7 News! Elmore was adopted in 2023 and has been a wonderful companion but is now being returned through no fault of his own. His owner is no longer able to care for him, and Elmore is once again looking for the loving forever home he so deeply deserves. He’s affectionate, resilient, and ready to bring love and light to a new family.
