My story

Meet Jax! A lovable fourteen-year-old Domestic Medium Hair currently living in Los Angeles, CA, whose heart is as big as his 17-pound frame and whose brown tabby coat is perfect for snuggling into on quiet afternoons. Jax is the kind of cat who instantly makes a house feel like home. With his gentle spirit and affectionate nature, he’ll meet you at the door, follow you from room to room like a fluffy little shadow, and burrow under the covers with you at bedtime. Whether you're working from home, reading on the couch, or just moving about your day, Jax will be right there, offering company and comfort in the most devoted way possible. Though he’s a senior, Jax hasn’t outgrown playtime! With a little encouragement and a feather toy in hand, he’ll happily show off his pouncing skills before curling up in your lap for a well-deserved nap. He especially enjoys being brushed and will melt under your touch during grooming time. And don’t be surprised if he rolls over for a belly rub—he’s one of the rare felines who actually enjoys them! Recently, Jax was diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Disease, but his symptoms are now well-managed with a high-quality limited ingredient diet and daily probiotics. He’s neutered, and up to date on vaccinations. He’s also incredibly people-friendly, gets along with young children, and, after a gentle introduction, enjoys the company of other cats too. This sweet soul thrives in a calm environment where someone is home regularly—whether that’s a work-from-home guardian, a fellow feline friend, or just a warm lap that’s always waiting. His dream family is one who will welcome him as the deeply affectionate and social companion he is.
