My story

Milks is about 6 months old, 11kg, 43cm tall, a Terrier/Jindo mix boy. When Milk is in unfamiliar places or meets new people for the first time, he tends to be quite nervous and may bark until he feels safe, as shown in the video. Since he has lived in a group with other puppies since birth, he needs some time to adjust when placed alone in a new environment. However, he quickly becomes friendly when given treats and can be petted right away. When he's in a good mood, he even approaches people on his own and shows affection. He gets along well with children under 13, though sudden movements or loud noises may scare or discomfort him. Once he becomes comfortable, he can be a very good friend to children. He can be picked up and cuddled by placing his arm under his belly, and he is willing to show his belly once he bonds with someone.   Milk is very friendly and approaches unfamiliar dogs to greet and play with them, generally enjoying the company of most dogs. He tends to be friendly toward dogs of similar or smaller size and accepts rough play well. However, he usually avoids overly energetic or provocative dogs, preferring to keep his distance if he feels overwhelmed. As a puppy, he loves playing with peers and is more energetic outdoors than indoors. After playing, he tends to return to his spot and rest quietly.   Since he has limited experience with walking, he may walk cautiously and stop frequently when walking in unfamiliar places or with unfamiliar people. However, with consistent daily walks, he is expected to improve quickly. During walks, he tends to focus more on people than on cats, even if he sees a cat outside. A house cat test can be arranged. . He walks well on a leash without pulling and follows commands easily. As a puppy, he sometimes tries to go in his preferred direction, but can be controlled without difficulty.   He does not guard food from people or other dogs and has no separation anxiety. However, since he has always been with other puppies, he might feel a little anxious when adopted alone initially. He is calm in a crate and can be transported comfortably, though he experiences slight motion sickness. He cannot yet get into a car on his own and currently goes potty outdoors.   Rescue Story: Milk’s journey started in a rural greenhouse, where her mother gave birth to six puppies. Sadly, the mother was driven away before she could care for them, but the puppies were rescued and lovingly raised by a nursing mother dog already caring for her own litter. Out of the six, five survived. Milk is from the same litter as Lia, who has been adopted in Calgary.   Send in your application today through our website   https://adoptmekoreanrescue.org/adoption-application/ You can also check his post on Facebook(Link to Post) or Instagram(Link to Post) He can arrive at Vancouver or Toronto airport and may be able to arrive at some US airports (Seattle, LA, NY, Boston etc) where we have flight volunteers. If interested, please contact us. . ##2413355##
