My story

Meet Felix – Your Future Lap Companion! Felix is a sweet, low-key gentleman looking for a soft place to land and a forever family to call his own. His Story:Felix was bottle-fed as a baby and adopted into a loving home back in 2019. Over the years, he lived peacefully with other cats, small and medium dogs, and even a human baby—he was reportedly wonderful with her! Sadly, his adopter’s life circumstances changed, and Felix came back to us through no fault of his own. His Personality:Felix is the definition of a cuddle bug. He lives for lap time and would love nothing more than to be your favorite movie night companion. He’s gentle, affectionate, and finds great joy in simply watching the world go by from a sunny window. Cardboard scratchers are his go-to, and he’s learning to redirect his scratching habits with a bit of gentle guidance. He’s responsive to “down” and is brushing up (pun intended!) on other manners too.He’s not one for dashing out the door—Felix seems perfectly content as an indoor guy. That said, he’s had a lot of changes recently, so he may be a little shy with new visitors until he feels safe again. Give him a little time, and his loving, mellow nature will shine through.Oh, and fun fact: he’s fascinated by ice cubes. Just wait ‘til you see him discover one in his water bowl! His Ideal Home:Felix would likely thrive in almost any calm and loving household. He’s previously lived with other cats, dogs, and a baby, so he’s experienced and adaptable. With his silky medium-length fur (which he proudly sheds a bit more when he’s nervous), Felix enjoys being petted and will tolerate brushing, even if he’s not thrilled about it.If you’re looking for a loyal, lap-loving cat with a gentle soul and a quirky side, Felix might just be the purr-fect match for you.Ready to meet him?
