My story

Currently at his foster home in Toronto waiting for his forever family. Background: Sumsum was rescued from a city pound in Hanam, South Korea, earlier this year. He resided with other dogs at our boarding facility before his departure from Korea. He is currently in a foster home in Toronto, living alongside other dogs. Personality and Socialization: Sumsum is a gentle, submissive, and amiable boy who interacts well with other friendly dogs, regardless of their size. As long as they are gentle and welcoming, Sumsum has no issues. He is particularly sweet and affectionate with his canine companions. While he may initially appear a bit reserved, he quickly warms up and enjoys following his human. Sumsum has a mellow temperament and medium energy levels. Behaviours: Sumsum is a quiet and exceptionally well-behaved dog. He enjoys playful interactions but also appreciates relaxing and resting. He is not hyperactive but rather easy-going. He behaves wonderfully at the vet and during baths. Sumsum is both indoor pee-pad trained and accustomed to outdoor potty breaks. He is very attentive to his humans and loves spending time outdoors. Health and Diet: Sumsum was born with a deformed front left leg, which was bent and excessively long, causing him to drag it. Following veterinary recommendations, his front left leg was surgically removed. He has made a full recovery from the surgery and is thriving, showing no signs of discomfort. He is highly adaptable and enjoys following his people and playing with other dogs. Sumsum is neutered, fully vaccinated, and receives monthly internal and external parasite prevention. He is healthy and ready to find his forever home. Ideal Home: Sumsum is seeking a home with someone who enjoys a relaxed lifestyle and spends a significant amount of time at home, allowing for quality time together. He would be content simply being in his human’s company and will make a wonderful, loving companion. Apply to adopt directly through link below: https://www.freekoreandogs.org/dog/sumsum/

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Sumsum, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
