Meet Bean!Bean is a 12-year-old Miniature Australian Shepherd who weighs 32 pounds and has a gentle soul and a heart full of love. While he may be a senior pup, he still has plenty of charm and affection to share.Bean is a calm and quiet boy who enjoys the simple pleasures in life—strolling around the yard, relaxing in the sunshine, and spending time with his people. He can be a little shy at first, but once he feels safe, his sweet personality truly shines.He gets along well with other dogs and would do just fine with a calm canine companion. Bean is also leash trained and enjoys peaceful walks where he can take in the world at his own pace.If you`re looking for a mellow, affectionate companion who just wants to be loved, Bean might be the perfect fit. He’s ready to enjoy his golden years in a home that appreciates his easygoing nature and loving heart.Before being rescued, many of our dogs had limited socialization, so they may need some time to adjust to life as a family pet. Older kids are often a great fit for our dogs, and homes with younger children will be considered based on each dog’s individual needs. Skills like house training and leash walking may take a little extra patience and practice. However, with understanding and a gentle hand, most of these dogs adapt quite quickly.
