My story

Hello, I`m Shakira! I`m a friendly, sweet, and gentle soul who loves to play and cuddle. I enjoy long walks and the simple joy of a good belly rub. I`m just a happy, lovable dog looking for a family to share my love with. I may not know where my journey will take me next, but I`m hopeful it leads to a warm, loving home. Adopting me would mean endless love, tail wags, and happy moments.I am part of the CrossRoads Adoption Program. The doctors say I have medical issues and may only have a short time left. My friends at MHHS believe that while our personalities still shine, we all deserve to know the love and comfort of living in a real home. I will need more attention and care than your average dog.We at MHHS realize a commitment like this is not for everyone.
