My story

Meet Kia 💛 Kia is a sweet kitty who’s learning how to trust people and enjoy the good life indoors after raising a litter of kittens in foster care. While still a little shy, Kia is full of curiosity and loves being near her person—she just prefers to keep a bit of personal space. She won’t jump in your lap (yet), but her silly side shines during playtime. She’s a big fan of laser pointers, string toys, and chasing just about anything that moves. And when it comes to Churu treats? She’s all in—licking them right off your fingers with total joy. What makes Kia extra special is how far she’s come. In just seven weeks without her kittens, she’s gone from hiding full time to licking Churu from a hand, and even jumping into bed for visits. Her transformation has been beautiful to witness, and we’re confident she’ll keep blossoming once she’s settled into a home of her own. Kia is looking for a quiet, patient home where she can continue to grow at her own pace. If you have a gentle heart, patience, and a peaceful space, Kia may be the quiet, soulful companion you didn’t know you needed. Someone just needs to take a chance on her—and they won’t regret it. 🐾
