My story

Confident, Cuddly, Churu-Loving “Very very sweet cat, 10/10 recommend” - caretaker! Stratus is a sleek little house panther with big purrs. This confident guy didn’t waste a second settling in — the moment he arrived, he was rubbing up against legs, purring like a motor, and asking for pets, please. He’ll greet you at the door, follow you around like a shadow, and happily hops into your lap for snacks and snuggles (especially if Churu is involved — he will climb you for it). When he’s not soaking up attention, Stratus loves batting around ribbon wands and keeping watch from the windowsill — just waiting for his next cuddle session. Stratus is ready to bring his cool-cat energy to a forever home — come meet him at Austin Pets Alive! Stratus has tested positive for Feline Leukemia. FeLV is not a type of cancer. It's a virus that causes a weaker immune system and often a shorter life-span. For the most part, 'FeLVies' are just like any other cat. APA! provides FeLV-related treatment and support post-adoption. Stratus can only live with other FeLV+ cats, but dogs and other animals are just fine! Any questions?
